President Trump said his administration would boost religious freedom in the U.S. by creating a new presidential commission on the topic, as well as signing an executive order directing Attorney General Pam Bondi "to eradicate anti-Christian bias" in the federal government. His announcements came during remarks at the 2025 National Prayer Breakfast Gathering celebration, held at the Washington Hilton in the nation's capital and hosted by The Fellowship group.
